Stops / Guards / Documentation

Machine safety upgrades with documented limits.

Safety work must not be vague. Mithril helps with practical control-side upgrades such as emergency stops, guard switches, light curtains, safety relays, I/O notes, and documentation packages. PE-stamped, code-regulated, or formal risk-assessment portions are routed through qualified partners when required.

Good-fit work

Control-side upgrades

Support practical safety-control updates within bounded scope.

  • E-stops
  • guard switches
  • safety relays

Documentation path

Make assumptions, limits, and required review visible.

  • I/O notes
  • test checklist
  • handoff packet

Partner review

Route code-regulated or stamped portions through qualified parties.

  • licensed firm when required
  • licensed trades when required
  • no black-box approvals
How first scope works

Send evidence

Photos, model numbers, symptoms, nameplates, existing drawings, and what good looks like.

Bound the problem

Separate controls, mechanical, sourcing, field, and licensed-review work before parts are ordered.

Build handoff path

Leave notes, settings, files, and checklists that operators and technicians can actually use.

Plain answer bank
Do you certify machine safety?
No. Mithril does not issue in-house PE stamps or final code-compliance determinations. Mithril supports controls implementation and documentation, with qualified licensed firms involved when required.
Can you add E-stops or guard switches?
Often yes as part of a bounded controls scope, with clear limits, test notes, and review path appropriate to the machine and risk.
What should I send for safety-scope review?
Send photos, existing diagrams, control panel photos, machine sequence, current guarding/stops, known hazards, and any insurance or authority requirements.
